Poem - Enticing rains.

Budapest Rains
Budapest Rains

Beautiful rains have finally arrived as they pour with all their vigor & splendor,
Instead of dancing with joy, my heart sinks in sorrow.
As my brows brood into a furrow,
I wonder how long the rain would last…
for the climate change wrought in by man,
has wrecked havoc, as unseasonal rains now bring menace instead of exuberance.
As trees get slain and the poor butchered,
Mother earth remains deeply annoyed but sobered.
Would man’s insatiable greed ever halt?
For if it goes unprecedented, how long would mother nature last.
And how long would the rains last….
Thus, as I brood I remain aghast!
